Nagarjuna Foundation is a non-profit organization promoted by the Nagarjuna Group, and actively pursues the cause of education, health care and community welfare. In Tamil Nadu, Nagarjuna Foundation has made a difference in the lives of its neighboring communities with the following activities:

The Nagarjuna Foundation has funded a mobile clinic run by Krishna Hospitals. Launched in the year 2010 with a dedicated medical team, is a well-equipped mobile clinic that caters to the medical needs of the surrounding villages at Cuddalore. The villagers are greatly benefitted from the medical service, which is free of cost.
Education:
In order to motivate students from rural regions, Nagarjuna Foundation conducted a Merit Awards Program. Government Schools were identified from neighboring villages at Cuddalore, and the school toppers were presented with merit awards.

To protect the environment, the sprawling 1600 acre project site is surrounded by a green belt of 300 acres dedicated to growing trees. The foundation has initiated Tree Plantation drives in association with neighboring schools and along with NOCL associates. Over 5000 saplings have been planted till date.
Further to Nagarjuna Foundation’s commitment towards preserving and promoting environment, the Foundation has adopted a lion at Chennai’s Vandalur Zoo.
